I am excited to be able to bring you this Walmart Beauty Box Spring 2018 review while we are still in Spring 2018! The box did arrive on time this season as Brandshare is trying to get it back on track. However, I am posting it very late after it arrived to me. The box arrived at the same time as a lot of other content came about, so I have had to pick and choose what to post according to relevancy. The Spring 2018 box is finally having it’s moment today, and I hope that the Summer 2018 box arrives in similar, timely fashion. With these Walmart boxes you never have a true theme or idea of what to expect, but you at least know that you will receive a variety of drugstore products that are normally popular and worth trying. Time to remove the cellophane from the box and find out what is inside.

Rembrandt 3 Day Whitening Boost Kit

The first product in this Walmart Beauty Box Spring 2018 review is new for my life. Rembrandt’s Whitening Boost Kit is a three day teeth whitening strip regimen. The strips claim to provide maximum coverage for your teeth while utilizing ingredients that are dentist approved and safe for your enamel. I think whitening products have a bad reputation for causing teeth and gum discomfort, which scares me slightly. You get six strips total in the box, equating to three treatments. The box does contain step-by-step instructions:

Peel strip from packaging
Apply sticky side to the teeth. Align smooth edge to gum line and shape strip around teeth. Apply to bottom teeth first.
Bite down and suck in for optimized fit
Wear for 30 minutes, then remove. Avoid eating or drinking for 30 minutes after removal
After completing the kit in three consecutive days, you can complete another box in a month.

The directions do not seem too difficult or intimidating. I am sure the first application takes practice. I do plan on using this kit in preparation for an upcoming event. Three days definitely feels like a safe and fast way to give teeth whitening a whirl, and despite my fears I am excited to try something outside of my comfort zone.

Hello Activated Charcoal Whitening Toothpaste

I have to admit being intrigued by activated charcoal toothpastes and powders for brushing your teeth. It looks like fun making your teeth black while you clean them, and just hearing “charcoal” makes me feel like any product that contains it works. Charcoal is being put into a lot of products right now- from face masks to draw impurities out of pores, to cat litter to reduce odor. This toothpaste is totally black and does make your mouth black during use. It has a warning on the package about spitting it into a sink, especially a white sink because it can be messy. I prefer to spit it in a stainless steel sink with a detachable faucet for rinsing. There are no special directions for the toothpaste, just brush as normal! I like the concept and will have to check out the price of the full size, especially if it works.

Aveeno Daily Moisturizing Lotion

I am disappointed to see this lotion again in my Walmart Beauty Box Spring 2018 review. We got the same lotion in the Winter 2018 box. Since the box came so late in the year I literally just used the lotion up, now I am receiving another bottle. It really is just basic lotion to me that does not have anything on my favorite Suave Smoothing lotion. I use it as nightly hand cream after applying cuticle oil. The lotion claims to absorb in seconds with a powder like feel and hydration that lasts for 24 hours. I do not necessarily agree with those claims, but it is not a bad lotion. It just does not have me doing cartwheels by any means.

Softsoap Earth Blends Moisturizing Body Wash

Next in my Walmart Beauty Box Spring 2018 review is the Earth Blends body wash that claims to maintain your skin’s natural moisture. The scent of this particular one is coconut and fig, and it smells very good. Other than that, there is not much to say about a body wash.

Dove Exfoliating Body Polish

One of the benefits of blogging is that I may have already used the products in the box by the time I get to actually write the unboxing post. I have to say that this body polish smells so good that I want to eat it! It does smell like macadamia and rice milk, which is a creamy and relaxing scent. This product is definitely gentle enough for everyday use, but I can see myself using it as a special treat once per week. The Dove price tag normally turns me away, but this is a product that I would consider purchasing. You are to use the body polish in the shower by scooping up a generous amount in your hand and spreading it over your body in circular motions, then rinse.

Soo AE Acai Berry Revitalizing Sleeping Mask

Soo AE is huge on making claims about their face masks. The Acai berry mask is supposed to brighten, renew, refuel, restore health and clarity, and rejuvenate. It is to be used as your final skincare step at night by applying a generous amount to the face. Sleeping masks normally absorb into the skin so that you can sleep without making your pillow messy. This one does do that, but I would recommend applying it 10-20 minutes before bed. You are to rinse it off in the morning. It is supposed to be gentle enough for daily use, which I can attest to because it took me about five days or better to use this packet up. I do prefer foil packets to be one time use because they are difficult to store once open. At the same time, this is a full-sized packet and it is nice to get your money’s worth. If anything, all I ask is including on packets how many uses are approximately contained inside.

Garnier Whole Blends Oat Delicacy Shampoo and Conditioner

The last products in my Walmart Beauty Box Spring 2018 review are single-use packets of shampoo and conditioner. The combo keeps the delicious and creamy product trend rolling with oat milk and rice cream extracts that are designed to smooth, weightlessly hydrate, and protect the hair. Your hair should be smooth to the touch after use. That is a hard call for me to make, considering I only have one try at this sample. I need a bit more time to make a decision. This duo has standard shampoo and conditioner instructions.

At the end of this Walmart Beauty Box review for Spring 2018 I want to mention another awesome freebie in the box. Clairol is including a coupon for a free box of hair dye and a ribbon hair tie that says “Clairol” on it. While I do not use hair dye or know anyone that uses Clairol, this is very generous and I am taking the coupon to work for the ladies to pick over. All in all, besides getting that Aveeno lotion again, I like the products that I have in the box. Everything else is new to me, and some products will take me out of my comfort zone as well as allow me to explore my interests. Have you used any of the products in this box?
