I know what you are thinking- it is almost Winter and I never even did an unboxing of the Fall 2017 Walmart Beauty Box. It is finally time for my Walmart Beauty Box Fall 2017 review. There is a serious delay in getting the boxes shipped, which I will share. Typically at the change of each season, BrandShare sends out an email reminder about the box, but no email has been sent. Come November I was charged for the box but it did not ship (remember that the first day of fall is September 22). Due to the lack of response from customer service, my own Googling enlightens me that there is an influx of new subscribers that is causing the delay. I eventually emailed customer service and got a response in early December that my box will ship “soon”. Eventually the box arrived without warning or a tracking number. The tracking number was provided to me after the fact that the box arrived. Now, let’s jump into my belated review.

This box definitely has weight to it.

Tresemme Tres Two Spray

The first item in my Walmart Beauty Box Fall 2017 review is a hairspray. I am disappointed to get hairspray because I never use it due to the sticky, dry feeling that it provides. When my hair gets like that it just tangles up. I actually had this same hairspray in the same size can before. I think it worked fine, but I hate hairspray in general.

Gold Bond Radiance Renewal Cream Oil

This Cream Oil claims that it exfoliates and nourishes dry skin with coconut oil, cocoa butter, and African shea butter. It is a very thick, white cream scented with coconut and cocoa. I will use this product on my hands before getting into bed.

Hello Extra Whitening Toothpaste in Pure Mint

This is a repeat sample for my Walmart Beauty Box Fall 2017 review, but I do enjoy this toothpaste. I even used up a full-sized tube. I like that this toothpaste contains natural ingredients. The mint flavor is gentle, which makes it enjoyable. As far as whitening is concerned, I do not notice much happening for my teeth, but I like it none the less. It is supposed to prevent cavities, strengthen enamel, and freshen breath. It is white and has a different consistency than your average toothpaste. The consistency is hard to describe. The best way that I can word it is that when you finishing squeezing it onto your toothbrush the last bit leaves a tail that I somehow always get on my fingers, which is my only complaint.

Plackers Micro Mint Dental Flossers

Due to my bottom row of teeth being pushed together from wisdom teeth, Plackers Flossers are a saving grace. I like that these come in a reusable travel case.

Body Fantasies Layering Collection

I am a huge Body Fantasies fan and my collection is large. My favorite scent is Sweet Pea. What is your favorite Body Fantasies scent? Let me know in the comments. Anyways, I am quite excited to see that Body Fantasies has some new scents rolling out as part of my Walmart Beauty Box Fall 2017 review. These scents are meant to be layered, but can also be used alone. I have never received body spray in a perfume sample bottle before. Also, the bottles are significantly larger than any perfume sample I have ever gotten. There is even a cap for the sprayer! The two scents that I have are tropical and cotton. I think I will like them both.

Soo AE Donkey Milk Sleeping Mask

A sleeping mask is a new concept for me, let alone slathering donkey milk all over my face. Soo AE is a Korean beauty brand, and they claim that donkey milk is all the rage. This is a mask that you are to apply to your face and neck at night as your last step in your skincare routine. You are to apply it generously and then go to bed. It is gentle enough for nightly use. You are to wash it off in the morning. It is supposed to soothe and restore the skin’s health and vitality. The other claims include diminishing fine lines and wrinkles, skin pluming, and leaving an overall glow. The formula is supposed to be lightweight for fast absorption.

Nivea Oil Infused Lotion in Cherry Blossom & Jojoba Oil

I find the next two samples to be highly amusing. Nivea is sending two samples- one is an in-shower lotion where they tout that you will not have to use regular lotion. The next Nivea sample is…. a regular body lotion!   Anyway, this lotion is for daily use on the body. The oils nourish the skin and absorb quickly. The scent is supposed to “awaken” your senses.

Nivea In-shower Body Lotion

Next in my Walmart Beauty Box Fall 2017 review is an in-shower body lotion that you apply after washing your body. Just rinse it off and you are good to go. The formula is activated by water. I find it slightly alarming that there is a warning on the packet that this product can make your tub slippery and can cause falls. It says to cleanse your tub after use with warm water. This product is supposed to combine the benefits of a body scrub and lotion, with exfoliating pearls.

Shea Moisture Coconut & Hibiscus Curl Shine Shampoo and Curl Enhancing Smoothie

The first thing that stands out to me about these samples is that they are for thick, curly hair. That is the complete opposite of my hair type, so I have no hope of these products working. I find this set to be unique because you get a regular shampoo, and a “smoothie” in place of a conditioner. Well, the smoothie is really a leave in conditioner. The shampoo has the typical directions of lathering up and rinsing. It is supposed to hydrate and detangle. Next, you apply the smoothie to damp or dry hair. You are to section your hair and apply it sparingly. It claims to reduce frizz, enhance curls, smooth, and make the hair soft and shiny. The formula is not supposed to weigh your curls down.

I find it curious that you get a ton of the smoothie, but only enough shampoo for one use. I will not put the entire smoothie packet in my hair.

Olay Luminous Tone Perfecting Cream

The final sample in my Walmart Beauty Box Fall 2017 review is one of those samples that I just do not understand. It is a skin cream and you only get enough to use it once. In order to see if a skincare product is working, you need to use it for at least 30 days. So Olay, what makes you think I am going to buy the full size if I have no idea if the product works or not? Ok, let’s get back on topic. This cream claims to even tone and fade dark spots. The directions state to apply it to your face and neck morning and night.

This box had a decent amount of samples. It was about split between packets and deluxe samples. For a drugstore box I am not completely upset about the amount of packet samples. There was also plenty of coupons in this box. All in all I think the box made for a good Walmart Beauty Box Fall 2017 review, despite the horrible shipping service. Did you have any issues getting this box? Have you used any of the items in the box? Let’s hope for better luck with the Winter box! Until next time, continue to let your true beauty shine.   Be sure not to miss any of my past Walmart Beauty Box reviews, including special boxes!
