The 4th of July is another big shopping day for me. This year I am doing my shopping over the weekend because of work. I am fortunate enough to be able to go to my favorite stores. As a result, this 4th of July shopping haul is bigger than what I am anticipating! I enjoy watching shopping haul videos because I get to discover items that I may like to purchase, which is why I make these posts for you. Ross Dress for Less
Perfect Image New York Pink Glitter Evening Clutch
The first store in my shopping 4th of July shopping haul is, of course, Ross. This clutch is calling my name! I know I will be disappointed if I leave without it. It is only $12 and is perfect for special occasions. The glitter does not easily fall off, but it can if you are reckless with the bag.
Steve Madden Blush Bmicro Satchel
The color of this crossbody is very unique. It is blush, yet very close to being nude. It is decently priced for Steve Madden and feels like it is of good quality.
French Pastry Hope is My Anchor Tee
I am just now noticing that this shirt has words on the back! I am selecting it because it is a comfy, nautical, oversized shirt.
You and I Mauve Choker Neck Chain Shirt
You are about to see a theme here with choker neck/cutout shirts, but they are totally trendy for Summer 2017. I love blush and mauvy colors. I can totally dress this shirt up and even make it work appropriate.
Ambiance Red Choker Neck Shirt
This is another choker neck shirt that I think that I can easily dress up or down. I also do not have much red in my life, besides red plaid.
Moonchild Choker Neck Tee
This is my favorite shirt of the trip! I adore shirts that have so much attitude, and the color is perfect.
Bozzolo Mauve Lace Bralette
This mauve bralette is a new color for my collection. Bralettes are great because they are comfy and are perfect for shirts that are going to show part of your bra no matter what you do. If you are going to show your bra, then you need to do it in a tasteful way. These are definitely a wardrobe essential. This one feels like good quality.
Cherry Chree All Eyes on Me Complete Eye Color Collection
This set from Cherry Chree is a total waste of $5. I am buying it just to try the eyeshadows. The pigmentation is not the best and the lids keep falling off of the pans. The shade I am most attracted to is the reddish-brown eyeshadow, and that one has the worst pigmentation of the set! Also, I do not think the colors in this set go together well. Save your money on this one.

Physicians Formula
These are my first ever Physicians Formula products. The set is $7, which is a great deal. So far I am disappointed with this purchase as well. The Eclipse powder swatch hardly shows up on my arm. At least the City Glow powder shows up better! I do not want to fully judge these until I apply them to my face with a brush. If they do not work then I figure they are meant for people that are paler than me. My next critique is the golden buildings in the City Glow powder. The gold is a glittery overspray and it ALL comes off. Finally, the packaging is very bulky for these powders. That is not cool for people like me who have a large makeup collection- we need to save every inch of space!

Plum Crochet Tank
I am trying to get some different colors into my wardrobe during this shopping trip, so this shirt and the next few are good choices. I like the tie-front look and crochet details with an almost shark bite cut.
Lace Inset Top
This top is cut very pretty, much like a babydoll top. It will look nice with antique gold jewelry.
Red Plaid Strappy Tank
I cannot get enough of red plaid and grungy outfits. This shirt is an awesome pick and light for summer.
Tie Dye Smocked Romper
For some reason I am attracted to this periwinkle shade of blue, especially when it involves tie dye. I think this romper is just too cute.
Salon Perfect 53 Eyelashes
These Salon Perfect 53 lashes are $1 so I figure what the heck. I must say, the band on these is very short. They only go across half of my eye which can make gluing down the inner corner tough. So far I am not a fan of these. If I want short eyelash bands, I go for what I call “halfsies,” or the ones that mainly adhere to the outer part of your eye.

Master Fairy Highlight
This is the first time I am seeing Maybelline’s Master Fairy Highlight in a store, so I am grabbing it! It swatches very well, dare I say better than the wet n wild version of this highlighter. I cannot wait to try it on the face.

The City Mini Palette in Chill Brunch Neutrals
I am feeling skeptical about purchasing any City Mini palettes because Maybelline is notoriously known for poorly pigmented eyeshadows. Based on hearing mostly good stuff about these City Mini palettes, I am deciding to take the risk on Chill Brunch Neutrals because it catches my eye the most. This swatches surprisingly better than past Maybelline eyeshadows. I will have to see how they perform in actual application.

Five Below
Mermaid Cozy Plush Blanket
You are going to notice a mermaid theme from Five Below in my 4th of July shopping haul, but I am obsessed with mermaid stuff. This blanket is such a steal at $5 because that is less than the Snuggy version. It is a good length, and the color combination is so pleasing to my eyes.
Mermaid Sequin Pillow
I am finally taking the dive and buying a reversible sequin pillow. I have been looking for one that does not clash with my decor. So far I am enjoying this decorative pillow and the shine that it casts across my ceiling when the sun hits it.

These nail stickers are so trendy right now and the shapes are perfect for a variety of nail art. Just $2? Heck yeah.
Fruit Straws
These are right up my alley. I have a pineapple and lemon obsession, but the others are cute too. The fruits are rubber so that they can be washed and reused along with the straws.

Be Matte Blush in Dragonfruit
I have a few City Color products in my collection which I find impressive, so I am open to trying more. These blushes are alright. I need to wear them a few more times before I make a solid judgement about them. The swatches feel somewhat chalky, but the pigmentation is there. They are totally matte, which I like. I am picking Dragonfruit because I think it is a good everyday color, and Blackberry because I like mauve blushes.

Desert Treasures Bronzer in Oasis
This bronzer reminds me of the bronzer in this City Color trio that I have. It is highly pigmented and shimmery, which makes it somewhat hard to blend. I recommend using a light hand with City Color bronzers. Other than that, I like the shade and how it looks on my face.

The last store in my 4th of July shopping haul is Dollar Tree, so get ready for a mini Dollar Tree haul! Yay, they finally have new designs of their reusable makeup cloths! These are machine washable makeup remover cloths. I use these instead of disposable cloths to save money. They do not remove 100% of my makeup, but I remove my makeup right before showering, so that takes care of the problem. I am a big fan of these. You can also pickup a matching headband to keep your hair back while you shower or apply makeup.
Jot Hook-Shaped Push Pins
I do not have a use for push pins at the moment, but the hooks are ingenious and the colors are pretty.
Sure Scents Scented Oil Refills in Hawaiian, Lavender, and Apple Cinnamon
I am in need of some scented oils to go with my new diffuser. These sound like scents I will enjoy.
Ombre Glass Sayings Candles
I plan on using these candles as decoration when I get a place of my own. Be careful with these- the glass is thick and they have some weight to them. I do not think they smell the best. They have an odd floral smell.
Scunci
I am finding all of the Scunci hair products! It is rare that I buy stuff for my hair, but I am all about grabbing name brand stuff at the dollar store. So far quite a few of these headbands creep up my head until they are about to pop off. I do not like that. I guess I will have to use a bobby pin with them.

I need to take a moment to rave about the Ouchless hair ties since I have not yet gotten to on the blog. These are the best hair ties that I have ever used in my life and I cannot recommend these enough! I have been using the same Ouchless hair tie in my hair almost daily for a year, and it has only stretched a small amount! I can even do this quick bun, where I do not pull my hair through all the way when I am making the last loop of a pony tail, and it holds my hair up!
Flexible headbands
The final items in my 4th of July shopping haul are flexible headbands. I like these because they do not slip around and I can use the teeth to hold my hair back.
