I personally find it super annoying when the only fashion trends you can find online are straight from the runway. Let’s get realistic here- none of us can afford such style, and none of those looks are practical for our daily lives. That is why I enjoy bringing you seasonal fashion trend posts. You deserve a no-nonsense way of finding out what the current season’s trends are and at an affordable price. I believe that updating your wardrobe and looking your best should be simple and fun. We have just entered into a new season, so it is time for Summer 2017 fashion trends! I know that I have definitely mentioned some of these trends in the past, but fashion really does repeat itself often. Which is good, because I tend to fall in love with many of these styles!

1. Off-the-shoulder

The first summer 2017 fashion trend is off-the-shoulder. You will commonly see this style on shirts and rompers, and maybe even dresses.

2. Cutouts

Second, we are seeing cutouts all over clothing! They can come in the form of an open back or geometric pieces that give a quick peep.

3. Hoop earrings

Third, hoop earrings are all the rage. While the size of the hoop is not that important, larger hoops are taking precedent over smaller hoops.

4. Holographics

Fourth, we are digging everything holographic in style this season. Holographic is mainly appearing on accessories like bags and jewelry.

5. Backpacks

We cannot get enough of backpacks here in summer 2017! Smaller backpacks are a great way to complete a look while being hands free. Try mixing up the material of your backpacks with leather, denim, velvet, etc.

6. Chokers

Next, chokers of all shapes and sizes are totally on point! I love me a good choker with almost any outfit, as evidenced by my huge choker collection. They literally complete any outfit in a flash and make you appear to be fashion forward.

7. Metallics

This season you need to find a way to incorporate metallic elements into your aesthetic. You can play it safe with jewelry, accessories, or shoes. Or, style yourself out loud with some actual metallic fabrics.

8. Cold shoulders

The final look in the summer 2017 fashion trends are cold shoulder pieces. Similar to the off-the-shoulder look, you will find cold shoulders on shirts, rompers, and dresses.
