I am back at it again with dressy winter outfits for 2017 that are even appropriate for fall. Sometimes picking out the right dressy outfit can be a bit of a challenge, especially when the weather has its mood swings! I am doing my best to curate a variety of styles that cover those cold, snowy days, all the way to those surprise sunny ones. I hope that this OOTD post will deliver the right amount of fashion inspiration for you as I play with colors and textures. Without further ado, here are my fall and winter outfit of the days.

1) Leopard + Black + Brown + Gold (Wildly Cute)

In my first look from these dressy winter outfits for 2017 I am having way too much fun with bows! The leopard blouse sports a large bow, and I am keeping that theme going with my handbag and jewelry. Gold always pairs well with leopard.

Dress pants: No Boundaries Walmart
Boots: Trend Report from Sears
Handbag: Betsey Johnson from Ross
Jewelry: Claire’s

2) Floral + Cognac + Green + Blue (Floral Hi-lo Obsession)

Second, I am testing a matchup of cognac and shades of blue and green. The floral dress is slightly high low and it pulls a boho theme with the boots, jewelry, and hairdo. This is definitely a fave to wear over and over again.

Boots: Madden Girl Westmont boots from Delias
Jewelry: Claire’s

3) Mauve pink + Gold + Cognac (Keeping it Soft & Pretty)

Third, I am working with one of my all-time favorite hues, mauve, to make this transitional outfit. The zipper on the long sleeve dress makes it easy to show off the necklace. All of the accents are gold to keep the outfit cohesive.

Dress: rue21
Necklace: Walmart
Sandals: Route 66 from Kmart
Crossbody: Walmart

4) Teal + Gold + Khaki (Forever Feminine & Colorful)

Fourth, I am making a bright statement with teal! I really like how gold looks with teal, so I am including gold glitter ballet flats. Khaki pants are a nice way to break free of boring, black dress pants.

Blouse with necklace: A. Byer from Boscov’s
Dress pants: No Boundaries from Walmart
Flats: Faded Glory from Walmart
Crossbody: rue21

5) Black + Leather + Silver (Dressing Up with Attitude)

Fifth, I am going all out in attitude with a studded style. The shark bite hem dress shows off a little leg, but wearing knee high boots keep you warm enough. I am playing with the studs on the dress with the bejeweled, studded purse, and statement choker.

Boots: Taffy Boots from Delias

6) Red Plaid + Black + Fringe (Lady Boss with a Twist)

Next up in this look book of dressy winter outfits for 2017 I have a punk red style. This warm, red plaid kimono makes a killer duo with the ruby red statement earrings. I like that the tote-style handbag and kimono feature mild fringe accents. Selecting a dress with a choker neck adds a special touch to the style.

Booties: Covington from Sears
Handbag: Joe Boxer from Kmart
Earrings: Walmart

7) Burgundy + Black + Suede (Girly Vibes)

Continuing on, I have a classic skater skirt style. While the top is a basic piece, the strappy back adds back in some interest. To balance out the basics I am layering in heels, sheer tights, and a velvet choker.

Skirt: Joe Boxer from Kmart
Booties: Attention from Kmart
Choker: Walmart

8) Light Pink + Black (Go To Street Style)

Here I have a punk take on what could be a standard work blazer outfit. This black jacket has so much sass with its many zippers and cropped style. In an effort to break up all the black I am using a light pink blouse. The jewelry is subtle enough for professional wear but still works with the attitude.

Blouse: Faded Glory from Walmart
Dress pants: No Boundaries from Walmart
Jacket: Bongo from Kmart
Clutch: Walmart
Booties: rue21
Necklace: Walmart
Earring: Claire’s

9) Knits + Black + Burgundy (Strutting Your Stuff)

As we near the end I have a warm, yet stylish look. Since the sweater vest is long, I am working with a long necklace. To add back in some leg action with the longer pieces I am opting for black heeled booties. The splash of burgundy refreshes the black aesthetic.

Handbag: Joe Boxer from Kmart
Black tights

10) Floral + Velvet + Leather (Floral With an Edge)

The final look from my dressy winter outfits for 2017 is a velvet floral dress. Since the hem falls just above my knee, I am showing off my legs with sheer tights, but staying warm. The flowers are busy enough so I am wearing a choker to draw attention to my face. A quick black leather crossbody provides extra texture.
