Here is a new curation of 16 fall 2016 outfits, and I have to say, I think they will deliver just the right amount of inspiration for you. I hope that as you go through each of them that your ‘wheels start turning’ in a sense that you think of ways that you can pull these off for yourself. There is almost nothing I love more than making outfits, and, of course, sharing them with you. Let’s get started.

1) Floral + burgundy + cognac (Late Season Garden)

The first look from my fall 2016 outfits features a floral romper which is perfect for weather that is not too hot, but not too cold either. Incorporating booties with a heel and plenty of blinged out bangles keep the dressy vibe of the romper going. The fringe crossbody is highly boho and somehow works nicely to tie in the entire ensemble.

Boots: Madden Girl Westmont from Delias

2) Black + white + stripes (New Take On an Old Classic)

Second, I am working with classic black and white to create something fresh for 2016. This style is all about layering, starting with a striped, ribbed racerback tank top. Over the tank I am wearing a jacket and throwing on a large crystal necklace. I am keeping the black and white striped theme going with the striped clutch.

Jeans: Iris Jeans from Ross
Handbag: Christian Siriano from Payless
Booties: Route 66 from Kmart
Necklace: rue21

3) Burgundy + leather + gold (Sophisticated and Chic)

Third is another look for in-between weather. Since the crop top is sleek, it pairs well with faux leather skinny pants. I am breaking up all the leather with suede booties. Gold always looks great with burgundy, making the long y-necklace an easy choice while not being overbearing.

4) Red + plaid + fringe (The Story Awaits)

Fourth is a look that is a cross between dressy and casual and is also great for the transitional time of year. The belt on the plaid tunic dress features fringes, which I am playing up with a fringe choker and fringe crossbody. Red plaid gives me an awesome excuse to whip out my red suede booties!

5) Stripes + distressing + heels (Office Coffee Break)

Fifth I have a girl boss style. Anytime I put a striped blouse with distressed jeans I feel so business-like while breaking the rules. This look calls for heeled booties and a lip clutch.

Jeans: VIP Jeans from Ross

Booties: Attention from Kmart
Handbag: Delias

6) Peplum + leather + gold (Temperamental Moon Child)

Next is a fun aesthetic that pulls in some dark, magical feelings. The lace-up peplum shirt matches the clutch to the tee, including the gold grommets that the lacing goes through. Such an open shirt requires a gold moon necklace. Wearing leather booties and a leather clutch provides consistency. Burgundy jeggings break up all the black.

Jeggings: Selena Gomez from Kmart
Clutch: Under One Sky from Ross
Necklace: Walmart
Booties: Trend Report from Sears

7) Red plaid + moon + leather (Moon Beams)

Continuing with my fall 2016 outfits is a moon-inspired look. The red plaid cardigan comes with the printed tank top. I cannot help myself by pairing the moon choker with the moon shirt! There is so much attitude with this look and I keep it running hot with the studded booties and laced crossbody.

Jeans: Vanilla Star from Sears
Choker: rue21
Booties: Charles Albert from Delias
Crossbody: rue21
“For the moon never beams without bringing me dreams”

8) Leopard + black + gold (Wild Temptations)

Here is an everyday style that looks more complicated than it really is! The sheer black blouse is ultra see through, which is a great opportunity to show off a leopard cami. As if there are not enough layers, the layered choker in gold looks nice with leopard. Heeled booties provide the glam factor.

Shirt: Color Story from Boscovs
Cami: Joe Boxer from Kmart
Jeans: Iris Jeans from Ross
Booties: Route 66 from Kmart
Handbag: rue21

9) Burgundy + gold + bodysuit (Coming Off the Sideline)

Moving on, I have a totally risky outfit based on layers. A burgundy bodysuit stays tucked into your cutoff shorts all day long. Since this is fall I need to “warm” the look up a bit, so I am filling in the open areas of the bodysuit with a black cami and I am wearing sheer black tights. Here I go again with the burgundy and gold with the wrap-around choker. For even more of a risk I am throwing in black wedge heel booties and a brown crossbody- two “clashing” colors.

Bodysuit: rue21
Shorts: Amethyst from Boscovs
Booties: rue21
Black tights
Crossbody: rue21

10) White + poncho + gold (Here She Comes Again)

Next I am playing with a white poncho shirt for a girly style. I will forever love wearing white with light wash blue denim jeans. White also is a match made in heaven with taupe booties.

Shirt: No Boundaries from Walmart
Jeans: Canyon River Blues from Sears
Booties: Faded Glory from Walmart
Handbag: Betsey Johnson from Ross
Necklace: Walmart

11) Plaid + blue  + silver (Hardly Patriotic)

Here I have such a unique plaid shirt because it is red, white, and blue. Layered underneath I have a ribbed, lace-up long sleeve shirt that matches the blue in the plaid. There is also lacing on my crossbody. Screw earrings are an usual choice, but they give more grunge with the already attitude-filled look. I love these blue velvet combat boots to the moon and back!

12) Coral + peasant + cognac (Trial and Error)

Pressing on with my fall 2016 outfits is a purely feminine look that is not complicated by any means. You are witnessing one of my favorite color compilations- a coral peasant shirt, white jeans, and cognac booties and saddlebag. I cannot get over how well the beaded choker matches everything and puts the finishing touch on the outfit.

13) White + olive + cognac (Here to Stay)

Here is another color palette that is easy on the eyes and even looks expensive. I urge you to try out some olive pants with tall cognac boots and a cognac crossbody. To go with the gold grommets that make up the lacing on the white tunic shirt I am opting for a round gold chain choker.

Shirt: Faded Glory from Walmart

Crossbody: Walmart
Boots: rue21

14) Plaid + fringe + suede (A Mysterious Evening)

As I am forever styling grunge looks, here is another one for the books. The red plaid shirt is anything but ordinary with the lace-up detail, and I am wearing it over faux leather leggings. Knee-high suede boots break up the leather. Spike earrings give that extra punch of attitude.

Shirt: Poly & Ester from Ross
Crossbody: Walmart
Faux leather leggings: Joe Boxer from Kmart
Boots: Groove from Delias
Earrings: Kardashian Collection from Sears

15) Leopard + leather + gold (Never a Dull Moment)

Here is a stylish look for a busy girl on the go! A long, button down leopard chambray shirt gives you all of the comfort you need while out and about, especially worn over black leggings. I am keeping the jewelry simple with all of the animal print running around. The knee-high leather boots are another thoughtful addition to really make you look like you are a style guru.

Shirt: Faded Glory from Walmart
Boots: Taffy style from Delias
Handbag: Kmart
Black leggings
Bracelet/rings: Walmart

16) Burgundy + gold + floral (A Long Day)

The last style from my fall 2016 outfits is warm and comfortable while still maintaining style. The floral handbag nicely complements the strongly hued burgundy sweater. Layering your everyday necklaces makes you look like such the creative fashionista. Comfy black jeans are totally in order!

Sweater: Faded Glory from Walmart
Jeans: No Boundaries from Walmart
Booties: Route 66 from Kmart
Handbag: Adam Levine from Kmart
Necklaces

We have reached the end of my fall 2016 outfits look book. You will notice that plenty of these looks work for transitional weather and they incorporate ways to layer for ultimate fashionista points. I would love to see your re-creation of my outfits down in the comments. I have plenty more outfits on deck for the future, so stay tuned! Until next time, continue to let your true beauty shine.
