There are times when you do not plan on having a huge shopping haul, but, hey, it happens to the best of us. I have an awesome opportunity to go back to my favorite stores that I only get to visit once a year to do further damage since my last shopping haul. This fall shopping haul 2016 ends up being equally as great and rewarding as the previous. Let’s jump straight into the haul so that you can discover some great new must-haves.
Ross Dress For Less
Ellen Tracy Contour Brush
The first item in my fall shopping haul 2016 is a duo-ended contour brush. I am buying this brush mainly to contour with the slanted side. It works great, and is probably the best brush that I use for contouring. The brush is very soft and blends well.
City Color The Brow Effect
Second I have City Color’s The Brow Effect kit. I enjoy buying all sorts of different brow products so that I have a variety to work with. Each of the powders in this set compliment my natural brow color well and last all day.
Simply Nova Hair Ties
Third are hair ties by Simply Nova. I love how girly they are with the bows. You can easily wear them in your hair or around your wrist.
Betsey Johnson Purse
Fourth is a dressy-style purse from Betsey Johnson. It features a quilted bottom, dots, and a statement bow.
Formula X Nail Polish
Fifth is a trio of Formula X nail polishes! These are shades that are actually unique for my collection.
Poly & Esther red plaid lace-up shirt
You know that I love my red plaid, and what makes this shirt even better is the lace-up detail.
Belldini studded tunic
Next is a tunic shirt that surely packs on the sparkle with studs! It will look great over some knee-high boots.
Under One Sky lace-up clutch
Concluding the Ross part of the fall shopping haul 2016 is a faux leather clutch from Under One Sky. I like that the pom-pom keychains are removable, and the lace-up detail gives an extra touch. The clutch is very roomy.
Five Below
City Color Figtastic Eyeshadow Palette
First from Five Below is City Color’s Figtasic Eyeshadow Palette. The eyeshadow is feels very creamy, almost as if it is a cream product. I am disappointed by the pigmentation, but that will not stop me from trying it out.
L.A. Girl Glazed Lip Paint
Second are some Glazed Lip Paints by L.A. Girl. Do these remind you of the Too Faced Melted Liquid Lipsticks? These are very pigmented and shiny. However, the swatches never actually set. I figure that they will rub off and will not pass the kiss test.
Beauty Treats Velvet Matte Lipstick in 01
Third is a Velvet Matte Lipstick from Beauty Treats. This product swatches a lot lighter than the bullet appears. I will have to give this lipstick a thumbs down for the color being deceptive. The only good points are the neat packaging and the fact it is matte with no dry time required.
Beauty Treats Face Powder Contour Collection
Fourth is a contour palette from Beauty Treats. I am happy to report that while this is pigmented, it is by no means crazy. I do like it, but I would prefer more brown contour shades. A few of them may substitute well as a blush.
Neon Sharpies
A fun fact about me- I have a Sharpie collection. I do not have these colors, so I adding them to my collection.
Funky Fingers and Unbranded Nail Polish
The first nail polish is by Five Below’s brand Funky Fingers, but the second has no brand name on it at all! Both are more of a confetti-style nail polish that will need to be paired with a base color.
Flower-shaped Lipstick Holder
I am an absolute fan of these flower-shaped lipstick holders! They are somewhat hard to find, but I use them to show off my collection of wet n wild Liquid Catsuit lippies.
Sally Hansen Salon Insta Gel Strips
Every time I find these Sally Hansen Salon Insta Gel Strip kits at an affordable price I make sure to buy some because these things work and look great, and seriously do not chip.
Neck Support Pillow and Eye Mask
I figure I can use the neck pillow while I am reading in my chair. I am not a fan of eye masks, though.
Locker Chandelier
This is a total silly. what the heck purchase for my college locker. I have always been a fan of locker decorating. This thing really gives off the light!
My Beauty Spot Set
Ending the Five Below section of my fall shopping haul 2016 is a set by My Beauty Spot. As a nail polish collector, I am excited to see this super cute set. Everything comes inside of the mason jar drinking cup.
rue21
Rose gold A necklace
First I have a lovely rose gold necklace set featuring an “A.” It will look nice with a dress coming up soon.
Lace-up grommet crossbody
Second is a totally punk crossbody featuring a lace-up detail with grommets. I am such a sucker for grommets.
Lace-up peplum tank
Third is a peplum tank with a lace-up front. It matches amazingly well with the clutch from Ross.
Asymmetrical strapless dress
Fourth is a mauve strapless dress featuring a sweetheart neckline and an asymmetrical hem. I need to save this for a special occasion. It is very formal for rue21!
Burgundy shark bite tunic
Fifth is a basic burgundy tunic with a shark bite hem. It will look good over leggings.
Claire’s
Next up I have a variety of jewelry from Claire’s.
Boscov’s
First I have a fun octopus necklace that I am buying simply because it is weird and different.
Misty Harbor Leopard Umbrella
Second, I am buying this umbrella to keep in my car, and it is super cheap!
Amethyst cutoff shorts
Third is a pair of super short cutoff shorts from Amethyst. They have a lot of attitude.
Color Story sheer black shirt
Fourth is an incredibly sheer black shirt that buttons down the front. I will need to wear a shirt or cami under it.
A Byer teal necklace blouse
Fifth is a vibrant, silky teal blouse that comes with a necklace. It works well with khaki dress pants.
Walmart
Faded Glory fringe booties
First in the Walmart section of this fall shopping haul 2016 are some fringe booties! They look great with so many outfits and colors, especially when wearing white. Here is a closet staple for sure.
Necklaces
Second are a variety of small, dainty necklaces. You can make quite a statement by wearing a smaller necklace when done correctly.
Faded Glory lace-up tunic
The last item is a white lace-up tunic shirt. I am planning on wearing it with something olive.
Dollar Tree
The last items in my fall shopping haul 2016 are some totally trendy pom-pom keychains. Getting them from Dollar Tree is such a bargain!
