I am working on another project for my graphic design class. This is my typography graphic design project. To explain, we chose various words, and try to represent what their meaning is by manipulating the font in clever ways. We can only use the typeface Univers. Within that typeface we can use any of the included fonts. I have complete creative freedom to manipulate the fonts, as long as I do not “destroy” them. Also, I am not allowed to use any special effects except for adjusting transparency. Almost all of the following designs start out as a sketch, and then I am bringing them to life using Adobe InDesign. So, sit back, relax, and enjoy some graphic design word play. I promise this post is easy on the eyes!

I am sure that this post is stirring up your interest in typography, so I will provide a brief overview. Typography is the way that type is arranged. It is not just limited to colors or fonts, but it is also important to consider the type face being used, size, spacing, and more. By tweaking and customizing these elements, your graphic design piece can convey a lasting message. You can read more about this from the Graphic Design Degree Hub.
Now that we are at the end of this typography graphic design project, I must ask which is your favorite? What are your critiques? Let me know in the comments. You can also share any of your artwork with me as well! As my class rolls forward, I will continue to share my work with you. I think it is a nice breather from fashion and beauty, but it will not overcome the main theme of this blog. Thanks for reading, and until next time, continue to let your true beauty shine.
