Where I live it almost seems like Spring has come, but then mother nature throws a bunch of colder days into the mix. I find this time of the year to be super confusing when it comes to selecting outfits. So, I am curating 10 winter 2016 outfits that will take you from Fall, to Winter, and all the way into those chillier Spring days. My goal is that these outfits will inspire you to not only dress appropriately, but fashionably, as we face our early Spring…or maybe six more weeks of winter.

1) Gold + Black + Metallic (Golden Gal)

The first look in my winter 2016 outfits is dark and metallic. First are gold coated jeans that perfectly match the gold lurex in the lace sleeves of the black sweatshirt. On the knee-high boots are antique gold studs that work with the entire ensemble. A quilted clutch adds a touch of elegance.

 2) White + Pink + Taupe (Pink, Anyone?)

Second is a warm and cozy style. A white popcorn sweater is the perfect backdrop for the pink infinity scarf. I am using the scarf to tie into the pink pants. With all the pink, a neutral shoe is a great idea, hence the taupe booties.

3) Hot Pink + Black + Floral (Spring Dreamin’)

Third is a style that is bright and fun! Check out the floral tunic shirt, with the crochet panel going down the center of the back. The hot pink handbag pulls out the pink in the flowers like a dream. I need some wedge heel booties with the look for a dress-up flair. Finally, the jewelry adds subtle sparkle.

4) Floral + Leather + Black (Glamour Garden)

Fourth I have a casual, everyday style. The length of this sheer floral blouse hangs well over black leggings. You can accessorize this look in any way that you please, but I am digging assorted bracelets for stacking up the arm. I keep the effortless style going with a quilted crossbody. Do not forget the knee high boots– they are amazing for adding some sass!

5) Coral + Cognac + Gold (Coral Confidence)

Fifth in these winter 2016 outfits I am delivering a punch of color. This coral sweater is so saturated in hue that I am wearing it over white leggings to not overdo it, but the length of the sweater is also legging appropriate. I love how cognac booties look with coral, but the heel does supply that something extra. To tie up any loose ends with this style, I roll one sleeve up and slap on a gold cuff bracelet that really provides the glam.

6) Cognac + Teal + White (Casual Wednesday)

Next is a casual outfit that has the slightest hint of girl boss. With a white blouse you can wear any color of pants that you want, so why not make a statement with these teal pants! Teal looks so nice with gold, which is why I am opting for the chevron chain necklace. Cognac is also another friend of teal, so the booties with the heels are back to play.

7) Mint + Gray + White (Anything But a Gray Day)

Continuing on is a minty, pastel aesthetic. This mint knit blouse has a crochet lace back and silver lurex details. I really enjoy how this particular shade of mint looks with gray, so I am wearing an infinity scarf with a mix of mints and grays. The crossbody and boots are also gray. I do not like wearing necklaces with scarves because the neck is already busy, so I am wearing cubic zirconia stud earrings.

8) Pink + Floral + Taupe (Floral Attack)

Here is an outfit that is truly floral from head to toe. The best way that I can describe this shirt is ‘floral cutout’ but the mauve hue matches the flowers on the pants. Since this look is busy I am wearing taupe booties to level things out. The white crossbody actually has a pink iridescent shift.

I completed this look by using Urban Decay’s Naked 3 palette.

9) Gold + Leather + Stripes (Style Ref)

Pressing on I have a look that I think is high-end fashion. Faux leather pants compliment a woman’s curves, and the black and white stripe jumpsuit gives a tucked-in look all day. I keep the stripes going with the clutch. Talk about leather from head to toe with the pants and the wedge heel booties. Gold definitely works with this color palette, so I am layering necklaces for good measure.

10) Silver + Lace + Distressing (Flashpunk)

The last look in these winter 2016 outfits is dark and punk. Lay your eyes on the unique, black lace shirt with silver lurex details. I am wearing it over distressed black jeans because the shirt and pants pair has so much attitude. The vibes keep rolling with the silver spike earrings and studded combat booties!
