If you are like me, then you currently live in a place surrounded by a foot of snow, and more on the way. However, if you enter any fashion retailer, then it is evident that spring is around the corner. It is very comforting to see all of the spring merchandise and to dream of warmer weather. But, what pieces are worth buying this season? The Aesthetic Edge is here to help. By scouring stores and fashion magazines I am creating a list of spring 2016 fashion trends. My goal for this post is to inspire your next wardrobe upgrade, and thus spending your money wisely, by going gaga over some high-end and more affordable fashion alike.
Spring 2016 Fashion Trends list
1) Colors
To begin this list of spring 2016 fashion trends I have the top colors. Right now we are loving a blushed hue of pink, yellow, and orange or tangerine. Honestly these colors spell spring! If you do not yet have them in your closet, you may want to consider snagging some pieces.

2) Printed Accessories
Second we have accessories that feature prints. It is super fun to take a rather plain outfit and throw in a printed piece as a statement to really pull the look together. Think about animal prints, florals, etc. I love a good printed handbag or shoes myself to really spice up my outfit.
3) Fringe
Third is everything fringe! If a shirt covered in fringe is not your jam, you can easily incorporate this trend in with a handbag, shoes, or even with jewelry.
4) Stone Accents
Number four in this list of spring 2016 fashion trends is stone accents. Primarily we are seeing precious crystals being worn as necklaces, but they are also available in other formats like bracelets, rings, and earrings. Try throwing at least one stone into your look to see how you like it. I have a feeling you will pull some great, positive attention your way.
5) Trench Coats
Fifth we have trench coats! These will keep you warm during this time of transitional weather, but they can also be extremely stylish depending on the coat. Amp up your trench coat with a belt and eye-catching buttons.
6) Suede
Next, all things suede is trending. Suede is available in all forms of clothing, from shoes, dresses, shirts, you name it. Luckily, this trend is easy to bring into your daily aesthetic.
7) Stripes
The last look in this list of spring 2016 fashion trends is stripes. Personally, I am a huge fan of stripes, with black and white being my favorite. Stripes have a way of making you feel highly fashionable, and even provide girl boss vibes. While the typical striped blouse or skirt is ok, think about unexpected ways that you can wear stripes like with a handbag or shoes.
