In this post I will be sharing my ‘what I got for Christmas 2015 fashion haul.’ Please note that this type of post is not meant to show off by any means. Do not continue reading if you will be upset by the content. Here I will be showing and talking about all things fashion and accessories. You most likely will gather some inspiration for new pieces to add to your closet, as well as how to style some items. Time to get started!
Fashion
Kmart – Adam Levine
Fur & sherpa vest
The first item in this what I got for Christmas 2015 fashion haul is a fur and sherpa vest. I wear this piece as outerwear on days that are cool enough that you need to wear something, but warm enough that my arms can be exposed. Basically, I need the right weather for this piece, but it looks really fashionable.
Ombre cardigan
Second is a gray to black ombre cardigan. This is a great layering piece, and the ombre effect adds interest instead of being a plain cardigan. It is really warm and comfortable! I want to pair it up with the black dress coming soon.
Kmart – Bongo
Lipstick sweatshirt
Third may just be the unofficial sweatshirt of The Aesthetic Edge. Instead of your ordinary, solid colored sweatshirt, this one has a sequin lipstick design and I am all about it.
Jeans
Fourth is a great pair of jeans! I like how rich the blue color is, while still being more of a dark wash. They are different from any other pair in my large jean collection. I know I can wear these with many looks easily.
Gold lurex crochet sleeve sweatshirt
Fifth is another elevated sweatshirt! The best way to describe the sleeves is a crochet that looks like lace, with gold lurex in it. Without a doubt they need to be worn with the pants coming next.
Brushed gold jeans
Check out these gold pants! They appear to be a blue jean that has the gold pigment brushed or painted over top. I like that they are eye-catching but at the same time do not make you look like a disco ball.
Kmart – Joe Boxer
Pleather leggings
Next up in this what I got for Christmas 2015 fashion haul is a closet staple for sure- pleather leggings. You get all the comfort of leggings, with the ultra fashionable look of faux leather. I can wear these over and over with so many things.
Faux fur coat
Continuing on is a statement piece best worn for special occasions. This faux fur jacket is very warm and soft. Look at that minty hue, I have never seen anything like it before. I like a good fashion challenge and this coat surely delivers.
Forever 21
Gray long sleeve t-shirt dress
Now we are going to talk about two more closet staples. Here are two long sleeve t-shirt dresses. While they are basics, they are awesome for layering to build a more complex look. Depending on how you style these pieces, you can look ready for a night out on the town, or just wear these as is. For this gray dress I want to wear the fur stole with it that you will see soon. For the black dress I want to wear the ombre cardigan from above.
Black long sleeve t-shirt dress
rue21 black faux fur stole
Next up is a faux fur black stole that looks so rich! You can connect the bottom part together with a loop and hook, or just wear it open. A stole can be worn over top of anything you can imagine, making it highly versatile. I want to wear it with the gray dress pictured above.
Peebles Self Esteem cognac fleece vest
I have one more piece of outwear, in the form of a cognac fleece vest. Not too much to say about this one since you wear it as a coat.
Accessories
Delias gold quilted crossbody
We are moving into the fun stuff here in this what I got for Christmas 2015 fashion haul. First up I have a lovely, metallic gold quilted crossbody. It is perfect for dressy looks and adds a lot of class.
Walmart
Cubic zirconia & pearl statement necklace
Here is a very high-end looking statement necklace with pearls and jewels. It does seem like the theme of this post is items that look really expensive but are actually cheap! This necklace will play well with the ombre cardigan and black dress from this post.
Beaded statement necklace
Statement necklace number two is big and heavy, as it is made up of assorted beads. I want to wear it with the gold pants and black sweatshirt from above.
Forever 21 5-pack rings
The final jewelry item is a 5-pack of gold rings with assorted color stones. I like that you can throw these on and go for instant style, and you can wear them with many outfits. That also seems to be a theme of this post- versatility with the pieces!
Boots
Delias Groove black suede studded knee-high boots
The last item in this what I got for Christmas 2015 fashion haul is a pair of black suede knee-high boots. I am loving the details here! Check out the studs at the top of the boots done in an antique gold color. The zipper is also done in antique gold. As if these boots do not deliver enough attitude, they have a chunky heel. I want to pair them with the gold pants, black sweatshirt, and beaded statement necklace from this post.
We are at the end of my what I got for Christmas 2015 fashion haul. All of these pieces have a lot of potential because they can be styled in many different ways. I must say, Christmas 2015 is a big hit and I like these pieces! Are any of your gifts the same? Which gifts here are your favorite? Please share with me in the comments. If you enjoy this type of post, I do these every year so be sure to check out the others! Until next time, continue to let your true beauty shine.
